A century of speculative fiction and film, games, poetry, and song, had been leveraged into a kind of subconscious expectation that someday, consciousness would move to the machines. Mankind no longer 'Wet,' organic, a creature of Water and Earth, but 'Dry,' immortalized in the machines consciousness had created.
The greatest choice in human history still to be made.
What would it be?
